This website is operated by Eureka Events Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Where these terms say we, us or our, they mean Eureka Events Ltd. Where they say you, they mean anyone using this site.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using it. We may change them, and the version published here when you use the site is the one that applies.

These terms cover the website only. Any engagement for services is governed by a separate written agreement, which takes precedence where the two differ.

Everything here is published for general information about managing meetings and events programmes: how Strategic Meetings Management works as a discipline, how organisations approach it, and what we do.

It is not legal, tax, regulatory, financial or professional advice, and it is no substitute for advice on your own circumstances. Nothing here creates a professional relationship. Where a page touches on procurement rules, contractual terms, data protection, tax or regulatory obligations, it describes the general landscape — your position depends on facts we do not know.

If a decision matters, take proper advice on it.

We prepare what is published here carefully and review it periodically, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or current. Practice changes, guidance is revised, and each page is written on a particular date against a particular understanding.

Two links deserve mention because the relationship is not obvious. eventprocurement.co.uk and eureka-events.co.uk are both operated by Eureka Events Ltd, the same company that operates this site. They are separate websites with their own terms and privacy notices, and using them is governed by those rather than by this page.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Submitting an enquiry form, requesting an SMM Review or contacting us through the contact page does not create a contract or oblige us to provide any service.

A contract arises only when scope, terms and fees have been agreed in writing. Until then either side may walk away without explanation or liability. We give no assurance about how quickly we reply, or that we will — though in practice we aim to answer genuine business enquiries within one working day.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, and so far as the law permits, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, revenue, anticipated saving or goodwill, for business interruption, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or anything published on it.

We are also not liable for loss or damage caused by a virus, denial-of-service attack or other harmful material that affects your equipment because you used this site or downloaded something from it.

Where you use this content for a commercial purpose, we exclude liability to the fullest extent the law allows. Where you are a consumer, these limits apply only so far as the law permits and your statutory rights are unaffected.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction — save that a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom may bring proceedings where they live.
